Ingram Hill Clinches Podium at Donington GP to Seal Top-Six Championship Finish

Qualifying

A wet qualifying session made for tricky conditions, and Ingram Hill took time to adapt to the changing grip levels. He qualified 10th and 12th on fastest and second-fastest lap times, setting up a weekend of determined progress through the field.

A dramatic opening lap saw several cars go off ahead, and Ingram Hill capitalised immediately to move into sixth. Maintaining strong pace after a safety car period, he held position and gained one more place late in the race to finish P5.

Race 2

Another fast start saw him climb several positions, including a move on Pribl at the chicane. He remained in the hunt for a top-six result before widespread track-limit penalties reshuffled the order, leaving him P11 in the final classification.

Race 3

Starting P3, Ingram Hill launched cleanly to take second and challenged for the lead in a spirited battle at McLeans. After light contact, he recovered quickly and executed a precise switchback move to reclaim P2, holding the position until the race was red-flagged three minutes from the end.

Race 4

In the additional race carried over from Brands Hatch, he started from P4 and remained firmly in the lead pack despite being forced wide on the opening lap. A strong, composed drive saw him cross the line in seventh and later promoted to P6 following penalties ahead.

The Donington weekend marked a fitting close to a breakthrough year for the 16-year-old British driver, whose consistency and technical development have earned growing attention from teams across both single-seater and GT categories.

A season of grit and growth for Thomas
